Whirling dervishes

The way of the dervish is a quest for love and devotion. He is a servant of time, a bridge between the earthly and the divine. During the Sema ceremony, a form of prayer in movement, the whirling dervishes live an intimate and transcendent experience. Between Heaven and Earth, they embrace the Lord, turning with Him in a world of light, carried by the spellbinding rhythm of the music. Slowly, they extend their arms: with their right hand, they receive; with their left, they give.

This ritual is an act of adoration par excellence. The dervishes free themselves from all thought, immersing themselves body and soul in the eternal present. To perform this gyrating dance, they must combine concentration and letting go, a paradoxical harmony that purifies and transforms the atmosphere. The air becomes light, almost palpable, as if charged with a sacred presence.

What a grace it is to share these moments of light and peace, when you feel connected to the Divine! Sema is not just a dance; it's a celebration of unity, an invitation to transcend the limits of the visible to touch the invisible.
