Colors of the Orient.

The lands of the Orient and the Maghreb - from Morocco to India, from Turkey to Pakistan via Syria – keep me under their spell. The light, the colors, the scents, the spirituality, the music and, above all, the hospitality of the people I meet, make me feel at home immediately. Truly, the welcoming twinkle in someone else’s eye may be the greatest gift of all! Oh how I would like to build bridges between the Occident on the one hand and the Orient, cradle of civilization, on the other. These photographs pay homage to the oriental culture, in appreciation of all it has bestowed on me.
